The vast majority of real estate agent websites in Spain subscribe to a system called a Multi Listing Service or MLS for short. These paid for services enable estate agents to share property information within the group of subscribers to the system.
Some of these systems are poorly regulated, with old property still listed that may have been sold or removed from sale. Details such as the price or even the appearance in the images may be incorrect if the listing agent has failed to regularly update the information. Most of all there is a good chance the agent taking you to view an MLS property for the first time will be doing so for their first time also and have very little information other than that supplied by the original listing agent.
At Agent in Spain we only display properties that we have listed personally on our website, with the possible exception of some new developments, this gives us a first hand knowledge of not only the property but also the vendors.
